My attempt at a polling module: http://vmichnowicz.com/data/pyrocms-polls-v0.1.zip I have only tested it with the latest development version of PyroCMS. I don't think it will work with v0.9.9.7 It still needs a ton of work. However, it should at least function. It's not meant for anything serious either. This module uses CI sessions to keep track of if a user has already voted. With this, all a user has to do is disable cookies and he can vote as many times as he wants. Some stuff I want to work on: - allow polls that can only be accessed by registered members - AJAX it up with some jQuery - Make it less ugly - Integrate multi-language support better - More consistent code - Allow polls to be placed anywhere on the site (not sure how to go about this, any ideas?) - Some other stuff I cant think of right now Anyone got any awesome ideas for further improvements? |
